Among the world's best-selling smartphone manufacturers, we briefly got our hands on Vivo's latest flagship model, the X80 Pro.
Since we couldn't use it much, we prepared an impression article rather than a phone review. Here are the X80 Pro's features...
Although the Chinese smartphone manufacturer Vivo has a limited number of models in the Turkish market, the company has many models in China. The latest member of Vivo's flagship class X series, the X80 Pro is designed for high-end smartphone performance.
Although the device is not sold in Turkey, Vivo Turkey sent a device to ntv.com.tr for testing. When we asked Vivo if they would bring their flagship phones to Turkey in the future, they did not give a clear answer.
However, this device, which we had for a short time, has a 6.78-inch QHD + screen. This screen with LTPO3 Amoled glass supports 1 billion colors and has a 120Hz screen refresh rate. The screen speed can be reduced to 1Hz, which provides a battery performance to the phone. In the phone's fingerprint reader, Vivo has taken the line to another level.
You can introduce the fingerprint to the phone in one go, and it is very fast to unlock the screen with the fingerprint. As soon as you touch the screen, you see the menu right in front of you. The phone has Android 12, and FunTouch OS is used as the user interface. Although the name of the system is Fun (pleasant), it is not a pleasant interface to use. Three years of updates are promised.
With a thickness of 9.1 mm, the slightly curved screen on the phone creates a thinner feel.
Using Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 as a processor, Vivo has preferred the Adreno 730 graphics unit in the X80 Pro. The device sent to Turkey for testing had 12GB Ram and 256GB internal storage capacity.
The phone, which has a 4700 mAh battery, supports fast charging up to 80 Watts. Charging the phone from 0 to 100 took under 35 minutes in my own experience. The phone also features fast wireless charging and reverse wireless charging. We could not test this performance of the phone, since the phone was not with us for a very short time and there was no wireless charger supporting 50W.
