But no, the surface is absolutely smooth. This creates even more amazing sensations. Volumetric illusion - it seems that this has never happened in smartphones. The set comes with a case that does not spoil the appearance of the phone at all. The cover is transparent, soft, thin. Ergonomics does not violate, but protects the device.

On the rear panel, the manufacturer placed two circles with cameras, which immediately hints at the flagship photo and video capabilities of HONOR 70. The brand name and an inscription indicating some features of the smartphone’s cameras are also visible on the iridescent silver-pearl surface.

HONOR 70 allows you to use the cellular networks of two operators, or two SIM cards of one. There is a corresponding dual slot for this. There are also a couple of microphones, one of which transmits your speech, and the second cuts off unnecessary noise. The speaker is loud and clear.

The smartphone is charged via a universal USB-C port. Charging is very fast, and it comes with a 66W power supply. Up to 60% of the battery is charged in just 20 minutes! This is enough to forget about charging for the whole day. It takes less than 50 minutes to fully charge. If you fully charge the smartphone, then the 4800 mAh battery will last for two days of battery life. This is quite a lot for modern smartphones.

What else? Convenience! Despite the rather large dimensions of the HONOR 70 (161.4x73.3x7.9 mm) , it fits perfectly even in a small female palm. All thanks to three features. Firstly, the smartphone turned out to be very thin. Secondly, it has a small weight - less than 180 grams. Thirdly, the bevelled display makes the phone even thinner to the touch.

All of us have long been accustomed to large smartphones with large displays. HONOR 70 gives exactly what you expect from it - a giant display that covers almost the entire front panel. Only thin frames are barely visible above and below, and on the sides the display seems to float away from the hands. Unusual feeling, emphasizing the premium phone.

Another benefit of the HONOR 70 display is that the screen refreshes 120 times per second. This is twice as high as the usual figure for most smartphones. What does it give? The feeling of very smooth operation of the device. Even when scrolling through desktops on a smartphone, you will not see microfreezes or twitches.

This smoothness helps the processor. While it's fast on its own, the 120Hz refresh rate display makes the system feel snappy. And since the processor has been touched here, let's take a closer look at it.

Fast, very fast

The HONOR 70 is based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G Plus processor . This is a new powerful chip, created using a 6-nanometer process technology. It includes eight cores. All these cores are combined into different blocks that do different work. For example, four Cortex-A55s are responsible for light tasks and consume little power. Reading news on the Internet, opening a messenger, dialing a phone number - all this does not require much power.

As soon as you start the game, open the camera and do other resource-intensive tasks, powerful Cortex-A78 cores come into play. At the same time, four cores are simpler (those that are Cortex-A55), “rest” and do not load the system with unnecessary processes.

In addition, the chip is equipped with an Adreno 642L graphics accelerator . It supports many gaming protocols and is responsible for high performance in games. Plus, do not forget about the proprietary HONOR GPU Turbo X technology. It optimizes the graphics subsystem, further increasing its performance and at the same time reducing power consumption.

In addition, HONOR 70 immediately offers 8 GB of fast RAM . Firstly, this memory is fast, so it allows you to instantly launch applications. Secondly, thanks to 8 GB of RAM, the smartphone will hold a huge number of programs that you have been running lately in almost instant access mode. This will not lose temporary data that you may have entered into them (for example, in note-taking applications).

The HONOR 70 has three main cameras. One of them determines the distance to the subject being shot and optimizes the shooting parameters accordingly. The second is an ultra-wide-angle lens that can also take super-macro photos. The third is the latest Sony IMX800 photosensor . Let's start with him.

The IMX800 is a 54MP sensor with dot fusion technology. This technique increases the amount of light that each such combined large pixel can perceive. The sensor is large, measuring 1 / 1.49 inches, and with an aperture of f / 1.9. Such characteristics promise excellent quality photos not only during the day, but also at dusk or at night.

The 50 MP ultra wide-angle sensor with f/2.2 aperture is also a pleasant surprise. Its field of view is 122 degrees, which allows you to fit more objects into the lens. In addition, this camera can take macro photos from a distance of only 2.5 centimeters.

A plus for selfie lovers is the front-facing 32-megapixel camera with f/2.4aperture.

How does the HONOR 70 handle photography? Basically, flawless. In good light, the pictures boast a wide dynamic range, excellent detail, and the right white balance. Artificial intelligence makes photos bright, saturated, juicy. If desired, you can adjust the image with a color reproduction that is closer to reality.

In low light, there is no annoying noise. The advantages are essentially the same as when shooting in good light: impressive detail and excellent balance between light and shadows.
